At present BRIG produces 4 models of rescue boats:
- a 6 men crew model with a sectional flooring and a rigid keel C6;
- an 8 men crew model with a sectional flooring and a rigid keel C8;
- a 6 men crew model with a rigid glass fiber plastics flooring (RIB) F400R;
- an 8 men crew model with a rigid glass fiber plastics flooring (RIB) F450R.
All the models are designed according to the requirements
of Life Saving Appliances, Part II.
Of the Rules for Equipment of Sea-going Ships, 1999,
the requirements of SOLAS-74 and
Amendments, LSA code.
All the models are tested according to recommendations of
Resolution MSC.81(70).
